Advocacy Process on Knowledge and Innovation Ecosystem Reforms

Knowledge Sector Initiative (KSI) and Centre for Innovation Policy and Governance (CIPG), has been working to support the drafting of a knowledge and innovation ecosystem blueprint since July 2020. The blueprint is expected to provide detailed operationalisation and needed strategies to improve/reform the knowledge and innovation ecosystem. The blueprint focuses on five fundamental elements to improve the ecosystem, i.e. the regulatory framework, institutional arrangements, governance and accountability mechanisms, funding and incentive schemes and human resource and infrastructure development. While for the operating principles, the blueprint employs three key principles, i.e. innovation-led inclusive growth, evidence-based policymaking and cross-element issues/GESI (Gender, Equality and Social Inclusion)
