Industry 4.0 will have profound impact on manufacturing. The highest positive impact will be most probably on machinery and automotive sub sectors and location wise on Java, whereas the most negative impact is to be expected for low skilled workers / routine and predictable work and location wise in Papua Maluku. There is wide consensus that the nature of employment changes, rather than a complete displacement of jobs meaning a change in skills requirement. Food and Beverage Industry will experience the highest impact of digital adoption, however it is among the industry with slow adoption speed
Two main objectives of the study:
1. To understand the process and stage of digitalization in F&B Industry
2. To examine the scale of digitalization impact on jobs and employment.
